Engineering Technician
The Science Team at Pride Health is currently supporting a client in the pharmaceutical industry and is having the Engineering Technician in Woodbury, MN Position Summary:We are seeking an Engineering Technician to support a Process Informatics development team in a laboratory environment. This role will work closely with scientists, engineers, and technicians to update and maintain electrical drawing packages, implement redlined changes, and support small mechanical and electromechanical design efforts using CAD tools. Additional Details:Pay range: $25 - $30/hour on W2 as per your experience Contract Length: 12 Months with the possibility of extension Key Responsibilities:Update electrical drawings and documentation based on redlines provided by engineers and project team members. Revise schematics, wiring diagrams, panel layouts, and related CAD documentation to accurately reflect design changes. Maintain drawing accuracy, revision control, and documentation consistency across projects. Support small design activities using 3D CAD for brackets, fixtures, simple components, and assembly-related updates. Assist with assembly of modules and sub-systems used in development and inspection applications. Coordinate with engineers, technicians, and scientists to clarify drawing updates and ensure design intent is captured accurately. Support testing, reporting, documentation, and coordination activities related to system builds, updates, and installations. Fixture systems onto weblines and remove systems from weblines as needed. Work in a laboratory environment while following PPE, lab safety, and machine safety requirements. Perform hands-on troubleshooting and problem-solving with moderate direction from the team and manager. Required Qualifications1-2 years of experience using electrical CAD software to create and revise schematics, wiring diagrams, and drawing packages. Experience incorporating redlined drawing changes into controlled documentation. Ability to create, revise, and maintain clear technical documentation and drawing revisions. Experience using 3D CAD for small design updates, simple parts, or assembly support. Experience supporting assembly of small mechanical or electromechanical components and sub-systems. Strong attention to detail with the ability to maintain accuracy in drawing updates and revision control. Ability to lift and move items up to 50 pounds. Ability to work in a standing/walking laboratory environment while following PPE and safety requirements. Preferred QualificationsExperience working in laboratory settings. Experience supporting electromechanical development teams. Familiarity with assembly documentation, bills of materials (BOMs), and revision tracking. Experience supporting software testing activities. Strong hands-on problem-solving skills in engineering or development environments.
