This is a Monday to Friday, full-time, day shift position. Job Description: We are seeking a detail oriented Quality Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for inspecting returned warranty units, identifying the root cause of failures, and ensuring accurate data entry for each unit. As a Warranty Technician, you will play a critical role in maintaining our high quality standards. Key Responsibilities: Inspect warranty units and meet the inspection goals set by your supervisor. Verify part numbers against the Return Merchandise Authorization and ensure the correct quantity of units is received. Conduct thorough inspections of each unit to identify the root cause of failures. Perform a complete teardown of the unit, using appropriate tools to disassemble it according to required procedures. Complete a warranty report for each unit in SharePoint upon finishing the inspection. Write failure descriptions using a cause and effect structure when necessary. Perform accurate data entry, including serial numbers, manufacturer details, and receipt dates. Requirements: High school diploma or higher. Minimum of 1 year of experience in quality control or a related field. Strong attention to detail and accuracy is crucial for this role. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Must be open to taking on any tasks assigned by their supervisor within the quality department. Basic computer skills are required. Ability to understand technical drawings and use precision measurement tools when needed. Experience using tools to fully disassemble units during inspections. Excellent attendance and reliability.
