Line Cook

Job Overview We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Line Cook to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food preparation, excellent knife skills, and experience in fine dining or restaurant environments. This role involves preparing high-quality dishes in a fast-paced setting, ensuring food safety standards are maintained, and contributing to an exceptional dining experience for our guests. Responsibilities Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and presentation standards Assist with menu planning and ingredient preparation to ensure efficient kitchen operations Maintain high standards of food safety, sanitation, and cleanliness in all areas of food handling and preparation Use proper knife skills and food handling techniques to ensure quality and safety Support the team during meal service, catering events, and special functions Monitor inventory levels and communicate supply needs to management Follow all health department regulations and company policies to ensure compliance Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders and uphold customer satisfaction Experience Previous dietary department or dietary aide experience is a plus Experience in fine dining or restaurant settings is highly desirable Strong background in food preparation, cooking, and food service operations Knowledge of food safety procedures, including proper handling, storage, and sanitation practices Familiarity with menu planning, meal preparation, catering, and serving is preferred Proven culinary experience with excellent knife skills and attention to detail in food presentation Prior kitchen experience within the food industry is beneficial for success in this role This position is ideal for individuals passionate about culinary arts who thrive in dynamic kitchen environments.
