Job DescriptionPersonal Care AssistantPart Time Mon/Wed/Friday 8am-2pmGolden Years Adult Day Health Care is seeking a dependable, compassionate caregiver to support an adult client in home.The client is generally independent with daily activities but experiences knee and back pain that can affect mobility. The client lives with son in a clean, well-maintained home (no smoking, no pets, no infestations).Responsibilities include assisting with activities of daily living (as needed), including bathing support, dressing, grooming, hygiene, and mobility. The caregiver should encourage safe ambulation at a slow pace with breaks and remind the client to use their rollator for stability. Additional duties include meal preparation, light housekeeping, laundry, running errands, and providing transportation to medical appointments and community outings. Occasional personal care support such as hair styling and nail care is also expected.ResponsibilitiesWe’re looking for someone who is reliable, easygoing, respectful, and shows up ready to work and follow through on responsibilities. A valid driver’s license and safe driving record are required.
