SME Software Developer / Dynamics 365 CRM DeveloperLocation: RemoteClearance: Active Secret requiredEmployment Type: Full-TimeAbout The RoleImprovix Technologies is seeking a SME Software Developer / Dynamics 365 CRM Developer to support a Department of State program focused on enterprise application modernization, Dynamics 365 CRM development, Power Platform solutions and custom software development.This role will support the design, development, enhancement and maintenance of mission-critical federal applications, with a strong emphasis on Dynamics 365 CRM, Power Apps, Power Automate, C#, JavaScript, SQL Server and enterprise system integrations. The ideal candidate will bring senior-level hands-on development experience, strong technical problem-solving skills and the ability to work closely with business analysts, product owners, testers and technical teams to deliver secure, scalable solutions in a federal environment.Key ResponsibilitiesDesign, develop and maintain enterprise solutions within Dynamics 365 CRM and the Microsoft Power PlatformConfigure custom entities, forms, views, business rules, workflows and CRM security modelsDevelop CRM plugins, JavaScript web resources and custom business logic using C#, JavaScript and the Dynamics CRM SDKBuild and maintain Power Apps and Power Automate workflows to support business process automationDevelop and enhance custom applications using .NET, ASP.NET, Web API, C#, JavaScript, HTML/CSS and related technologiesIntegrate Dynamics 365 CRM and Power Platform solutions with external systems using REST APIs, OData, JSON, XML and web servicesSupport SQL Server database development, including stored procedures, views, triggers, data queries and reporting supportAssist with data migration, system modernization and application enhancement initiativesSupport automated notifications, workflow processes and system-triggered business logicTroubleshoot application issues, support production systems and implement enhancements based on user and stakeholder needsParticipate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies, including sprint planning, backlog grooming, estimation and status updatesCollaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, document technical solutions and deliver high-quality softwareRequired Qualifications10+ years of software development experienceHands-on experience developing and supporting Dynamics 365 CRM solutionsExperience with Power Platform, including Power Apps and Power AutomateStrong development experience with C#, JavaScript, .NET, ASP.NET, Web API or similar Microsoft technologiesExperience developing CRM plugins, JavaScript web resources, custom entities, forms, views, workflows and security rolesExperience integrating enterprise applications using REST APIs, OData, JSON, XML and related integration methodsStrong SQL Server experience, including database development, stored procedures, views, triggers and reporting queriesExperience supporting enterprise application modernization or enhancement initiativesExperience working in Agile/Scrum development environmentsAbility to communicate effectively with technical teams, business stakeholders and federal clientsU.S. citizenship requiredActive Secret clearance requiredPreferred SkillsDepartment of State or federal agency experienceExperience with Dynamics 365 CRM on-premises or hybrid enterprise environmentsExperience with Power BI, SSRS, Crystal Reports or other reporting toolsExperience with Azure DevOps, TFS or similar development tracking toolsExperience with ETL, SSIS, Pentaho Kettle or database migration projectsExperience with SharePoint or ServiceNow integrationsFamiliarity with Active Directory, IIS, Windows Server, Linux or Unix environmentsExperience supporting grants management, incident management, refugee management or other federal enterprise systemsWhy ImprovixAt Improvix Technologies, we don’t just deliver IT solutions — we deliver mission success.
