Location: Alachua, FL Pay: $18.50-$22.50 Schedule: Sunday - Wednesday 2:00pm - 1:00am Job Summary: The Yard Specialist is a Certified Motor Vehicle Operator who operates primarily out of the truck yard at the G&C Foods facility. The Yard Specialist is responsible for the fleet of trucks and trailers, including placement, inspection, and general maintenance of the equipment. Essential Functions: Performs daily yard equipment inventory at the start of each shift Transports equipment to and from maintenance garages as needed Updates the dispatch board in Operations as needed Cleans trailers internally before loading of product Change DEF as needed Empty garbage bin near fuel station as needed Performs other functions as needed or directed by Transportation Management Requirements: High School Diploma or GED preferred FL CDL-A preferred As a 100% employee?owned organization, G&C Foods offers an Employee Stock Ownership Plan (ESOP) as part of our benefits program.
