Lead Maintenance Technician (3rd Shift)

CEVA is now hiring a Lead Maintenance Technician for 3rd shift. 3rd 11pm-7am Sunday-Thursday WHAT ARE YOU GOING TO DO? Work with local department supervision and Facility Warehouse Manager to plan projects for material orders, man-hours and area down time. Schedule and assign team tasks via department work order system(s). Schedule preventive maintenance on all equipment with correct documentation needed to record all discrepancies. Work with Facility Warehouse Manager to develop preventive maintenance schedule on all equipment and the building structure. Monitor parts and supply inventory to support scheduled repairs. Gather proposals for major repairs by outside contractors and oversee project (work performed by contractor) while monitoring all city/county/state mandatory inspections for accuracy with follow through on documentation and completion dates. Maintain and monitor the condition and appearance of the entire complex including the exterior, noting deficiencies and property damage. Work with Facility Warehouse Manager to plan corrective action to resolve deficiencies and ensure compliance with health and safety requirements. Ensure department safety is communicated and followed to the highest standard by holding training classes for team members and monitoring daily work habits. Asset management and organization of facilities department tools, recognizing safety, condition and request replacement when needed. Communicate through email with all technicians and management within the department to have steady and consistent flow of knowledge of all shift events. Work with management to keep maintenance costs at a minimum and within budgetary guidelines by collecting department data using appropriate software. Health and Safety Accidents, near-miss incidents, and any other health and safety concerns must be reported to management/health and safety representative immediately. Responsible for maintaining cleanliness of the distribution center by ensuring all work areas are clean, orderly and in compliance with 5S. Adhere to all safety policies/practices. Physical Demands While performing the duties of this job the employee will be required to stand, walk, use hands and fingers, reach with hands and arms. This position may be required to stoop, kneel, or crouch as it relates to product handling and distribution, and must regularly lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. This position will be regularly exposed to moving mechanical parts. This position will be exposed to extreme heat and extreme cold including climates consistent with outside weather conditions. This position may be required to climb ladders WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR? High School Diploma or equivalent. Electrical experience highly desired. Ability to communicate effectively in verbal and written form with peers, leaders, and outside vendors and contractors. Minimum 5 yrs. exp. in electro-mechanical industrial maintenance environment as an installation, millwright, electrician's apprentice, or welder/fitter, or industrial maintenance tech. Minimum 5 yrs. experience in training and repair, maintenance, trouble shooting, and installation of HVAC systems, electrical distribution, dock shelters, sheet metal, high rack storage, compactors, powered and non-powered conveyors. 5 yrs. experience in repair and maintenance of pneumatic and hydraulic systems. Ability to work at heights above ground level. Including but not limited to operation of all lift equipment, scissor lifts, multi-meter, and other diagnostic tools. Knowledge of building, fire, electric and safety codes and intermediate knowledge of power distribution systems and relay logic and motor controls. Experience with void fill and carton erector equipment preferred. Ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and two-line diagrams. Willingness to assist in the training and development of other associates. At times will be required to work overtime, weekends, and holidays. WHAT DO WE HAVE TO OFFER?
