Each bar is contained inside one of our gorgeous restaurants or floor spaces, each with its own distinct look, vibe, and menu to compliment it.Do you want to join one of the best places to work in hospitality?What's the role?BartenderWho we are...The Ned and Ned's Club are a global collection of hotels, clubs, spas, and restaurants for like-minded individuals to meet, work and have a good time.Seven years after launching The Ned London in 2017, we are proud to have opened a Ned's Club in the US capital in 2025, our fourth and newest location.The Property...Ned's Club Washington DC is a members' club set over three floors of a neoclassical style building situated within President's Park at 734 15th Street NW. The Riggs Building sits opposite the US Treasury and was constructed in 1930. The 12-story building is located around the corner from the White House and sits above the Milken Center for Advancing the American Dream, formerly the historic Riggs Bank Corcoran branch.The Club has a Rooftop Terrace and Loft Restaurant with views overlooking the White House, US Treasury and Washington Monument, plus a Founder's Dining Room, The Library, Drawing Room, Gallery and Conservatory. On level nine, there is a self-contained floor of private event spaces.Reporting into the Bar management team and as a key part of the food and beverage team you will:Prepare and serve up perfectly made drinks from our range of menusOn our guest service bars you will be the friendly face providing exceptional experiences, along with recommendations and suggested drinksOn our service bars you will speedily prepare the orders as they come in, keeping our servers and runners stocked with the drinks they need to deliver a seamless experience to our guestsAll of our bars are in full view of the guests so a tidy, presentable, and slick operation is essentialBe a guardian of drink quality and presentation, never letting anything lower than Ned standards reach our guestsMaintain a safe and clean bar environment, protecting our guests and your teammates from any possible harmAssist and communicate with our barbacks the needs of the bar in an effort to support an extraordinary experienceWhat you can bring to the role:You'll have a fantastic personality, engaging with our customers to give them an exceptional serviceYou'll have great all-round drinks knowledge, and ideally experience with cocktails and winesA creative flair is always welcome - we host regular cocktail competitions with our winning drinks potentially being added to the menusCome with a desire to learn and progress your beverage knowledge and skills as we will have regular spirits, wine, beer and service trainings as part of our monthly learning calendarWhat The Ned can give you:Salary of up to $14.00/hour plus gratuitiesMedical, Dental, Vision, Company Paid Life, STD, LTD InsuranceComplimentary meals in our friendly team restaurant when the Club opensExciting learning and development programs to help progress your careerExclusive rates with our hotels for stays and dining, exclusive rates for your family and friends for hotel staysPaid time off401k matchingEmployee assistance program - advice and supportReward and recognition initiativesAt The Ned, we don't just celebrate our diversity, we challenge ourselves to do even better.
