Senior Accountant

We are a leading commercial GC serving clients across the technology, life science, healthcare, and corporate sectors, known for delivering complex projects within a collaborative, high-performing environment, and we are looking for a Project Accountant to join the team.This role supports project teams on all accounting-related matters while helping keep project finances accurate, timely, and organized from setup through closeout. You’ll serve as the primary point of contact between Accounting and Operations, overseeing day-to-day accounting coordination and issue resolution.Key Responsibilities• Manage project billings, AP invoices, subcontractor compliance, receivables, and cost reporting.• Support project teams with budget reviews, reconciliations, WIP reporting, accounting adjustments, and closeout activities.• Assist operations and project teams within Vista, including project setup, PCO reconciliation, troubleshooting, and compliance updates.• Serve as a liaison between clients and internal teams while supporting audits, compliance, and occasional job site visitsQualifications• Bachelor’s degree with 3+ years of construction accounting experience.• Experience with job cost accounting systems, Excel, and financial software.• Strong communication, organization, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.• Able to thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.Base salary range of $82,000 - $95,000 plus a full benefits package, vacation and holiday pay, 401K match, participation in ESOP program, and more.You’ll also support complex, high-profile commercial projects across the Bay Area with strong visibility, ownership, and long-term career growth potential.If interested, please send your resume.
