Job DescriptionReports To: Area Director of SalesCollaborates With: General ManagerPOSITION PURPOSE AND OBJECTIVES:The Sales Manager works to support BryantCorp's vision of building better communities through beautiful spaces. The Sales Manager assists the hotel General Managers, Assistant General Manager, and Chief Engineer to accomplish the goals of the company.As a Sales Manager, you can deliver the BryantCorp difference by building relationships with our guests from the beginning of their booking process throughout their stay. You will be responsible for responding to guest inquiries, coordinating event details, and providing administrative sales support.PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:Ability to perform assigned duties with attention to detail, speed, accuracy, followthrough, courtesy, cooperativeness, and work with a minimum of supervision.Refined verbal and written communication skills.Must be proficient in general computer and Microsoft Office12 months of hotel sales and/or front desk experience preferred, but not requiredInterpersonal skills and the ability to work well with co-workers and the public.Previous sales experience preferredESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:This position is responsible for:Supporting the Area Director of Sales with a focus on optimizing revenue and bookingsCommunicate pertinent information regarding groups to the various departments of the hotel to ensure a cohesive and consistent process with the overall goal of customer and guest satisfaction.Drive revenue by actively selling meeting and event spaces to prospective clientsRespond promptly to incoming sales inquiries and calls, providing accurate information and tailored solutionsPrepare, distribute, and manage group agreements and contracts in a timely mannerCreate, monitor, and manage room blocks, ensuring accuracy and optional utilizationConduct consistant follow-up and communication on room blocksAccuretly input and maintain all group, event, and client details within designated systemsConduct on-site tours for walk-in clients and potential groups, showcasing the property and event spacesDeliver exceptional guest service throughout the sales and planning process, ensuring a positive and client experienceProviding exemplary guest service by demonstrating a personal commitment to making every guest satisfied.Other duties as requested by the Area Director of Sales BryantCorp is an equal-opportunity employer.
