Lead Teacher
Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Lead Teacher to join our educational team. The Lead Teacher will be responsible for creating a happy, nurturing, and stimulating learning environment for young children.
Duties
- Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that promote literacy education, physical education, and overall child development.
- Educate children in various subjects while ensuring a safe and inclusive classroom environment.
- Manage classroom behavior through positive reinforcement strategies and effective communication with students.
- Collaborate with parents and guardians to discuss student progress and address any concerns.
- Create a welcoming atmosphere that encourages children to explore and learn through play.
- Participate in ongoing professional development to enhance teaching skills and stay current with educational best practices.
Experience
- Previous ECE experience is required, minimum 2 years.
- CDA or Associate Degree is required.
- Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with children, parents, and staff.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team-oriented environment while taking initiative when needed.

Pay: $16.75 - $18.50 per hour
Expected hours: 20 – 40 per week
