Program Director

Key Responsibilities: Program Leadership: Define program objectives, scope, and success metrics in alignment with organizational goals. Provide strategic direction and vision to program teams, ensuring clarity of purpose and accountability. Planning & Execution: Develop comprehensive program roadmaps, timelines, and budgets, ensuring timely and cost-effective delivery. Oversee the coordination of interrelated projects and activities within the program. Stakeholder Engagement: Act as the primary point of contact for program stakeholders, including executives, team leads, and external partners. Facilitate regular communication, reporting, and updates on program progress, risks, and achievements. Team Management: Lead and mentor project managers, team leads, and other program staff, fostering a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement. Allocate resources effectively across projects and resolve conflicts or resource constraints. Risk Management: Identify, assess, and mitigate program risks, implementing contingency plans as needed. Ensure program compliance with regulatory and organizational standards. Performance Measurement: Monitor and evaluate program performance, ensuring alignment with KPIs and strategic objectives. Conduct post-program reviews to capture lessons learned and identify areas for improvement. Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Project Management, or a related field. Master’s degree or equivalent experience is preferred. 10+ years of experience in program management, project management, or a related role, with at least 5 years in a leadership capacity. Proven track record of managing complex, cross-functional programs with successful outcomes. Skills: Program Management Expertise: Strong knowledge of program and project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Scrum, Waterfall, or hybrid approaches). Proficiency in using project management tools such as Jira, MS Project, or Trello. Strategic Thinking: Ability to align program goals with organizational strategy and drive results. Experience in balancing short-term project needs with long-term strategic objectives. Leadership & Communication: Excellent leadership, team-building, and motivational skills. Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to convey complex information to diverse audiences. Financial Acumen: Experience in budget planning, financial tracking, and cost management for large-scale programs. Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a proactive approach to addressing challenges. Preferred Qualifications: Certifications in program or project management (e.g., PMP, PgMP, or SAFe). Experience in managing programs in specific domains such as technology, healthcare, or finance.
