Conference Planner
The Gartner Strategic Account Meeting (SAM) Conference Planner serves as the primary resource to manage the logistics, scheduling and execution of Strategic Account Meetings. The SAM Planner is responsible for room, client and analyst calendar management, internal communications, and providing a first-class attendee experience.Primary ResponsibilitiesManage the logistics, scheduling and execution of Strategic Account MeetingsDeliver an exceptional experience for our C-Level Clients and Prospects having a Strategic Account MeetingSet up and maintain SAM tracker, submission forms and resources for each conferenceContinuous capacity planning, ensuring analyst resource is utilized effectivelyWork with the operations team on future planning and space requirementsManage stakeholder communications ensuring all internal and external queries have been answered in a timely mannerPartner with BTI and CES to confirm all SAM are well alignedTravel to in person conferences and manage overall logistics and check-in for SAMPoint person for any onsite scheduling or logistics for SAMBuild productive relationships with internal and external clients, helping to support and train Gartner associates on the scheduling processEffectively communicate, collaborate, and maintain relationships with various partners and stakeholders including Strategic Partnerships, CES, BTI, Logistics, CJB and Sales OpsAdhere to expense management practices.Complete all post conference data analysis of SAMSupport wider team with One-on-One Program deliveryKey ContactsStrategic Partnerships, CES, BTI, Logistics, CJB, Business Solutions, Financial Planning, Sales Ops and Sales & ServiceQualificationsBachelor's degree, preferredExperience working in a corporate environmentAbility to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and prioritize workloadExceptional client focused, customer service skillsTeam player – reliable and accountableHigh sense of urgencyExceptional oral and written communication skillsStrong organizational skillsAbility to work issues through to resolutionAttention to detailProactiveDecisiveCommunicative and collaborativeFully competent in Microsoft Office, specifically excelCompetent Project ManagerApproximately 10-15% travel to client meetings and events is requiredAbout GartnerAt Gartner, Inc. Join us.Compensation and BenefitsGartner believes in fair and equitable pay. A reasonable estimate of the base salary range for this role is 50,000 USD - 74,000 USD. Additional compensation may include an annual bonus plan or a role-based, uncapped sales incentive plan.
