The Trade Room Line Cook plays a key role in bringing the restaurant's concept to life-preparing and executing dishes with precision, consistency, and attention to detail.This role is ideal for a passionate culinary professional who thrives in a fast-paced kitchen environment and takes pride in delivering exceptional food experiences.Requested Tasks: Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes, specifications, and presentation standardsExecute food production in a timely manner during service periodsMaintain consistency in quality, portioning, and plating of all dishesSet up and maintain assigned workstation with proper mise en placeFollow all food safety, sanitation, and health regulationsMaintain cleanliness and organization of kitchen stations and equipmentAssist with prep work, inventory organization, and storage as neededCommunicate effectively with kitchen team members to ensure smooth servicePerform quality checks on dishes before they are servedSupport team members and contribute to a positive kitchen environmentRequested Capabilities:Prior experience as a Line Cook, preferably in a high-volume or upscale restaurantStrong knowledge of cooking techniques and kitchen operationsUnderstanding of food safety and sanitation standardAbility to work efficiently in a fast-paced, high-pressure environmentStrong attention to detail and commitment to qualityAbility to follow recipes and execute consistentlyTeam-oriented mindset with strong communication skillsAbility to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidaysAbility to stand and work for extended periodsAbility to lift and carry objects up to 50 poundsAbility to bend, reach, and perform repetitive kitchen tasksAbility to safely use kitchen equipment, tools, and knivesAs part of the Makeready collection, we proudly offer a variety of thoughtful benefits and perks for eligible team members including accommodating PTO/PTO exchange, medical/dental/vision benefits, maternity/paternity leave, pet insurance, company-matched dependent care & 401k, student loan repayment program and a wide range of additional ancillary benefits.
