Mechanical Engineer
Green Expert Technology Inc. (GreenXT) is seeking a Mechanical Engineer.
The Mechanical Engineer shall provide junior-level engineering support for Condition-Based Maintenance (CBM) and CBM+ programs supporting U.S. Navy surface ship Hull, Mechanical, and Electrical (HM&E) systems. This role supports Naval Surface Warfare Center Philadelphia Division (NSWCPD) engineering teams with shipboard data analysis, system assessments, installation support, testing, and documentation under an active CBM task order.

Job Responsibilities:
Engineering & Technical Support
Support CBM and CBM+ system installation, integration, and sustainment for Navy surface ship HM&E systems
Support troubleshooting of HM&E equipment, sensors, and interfaces related to CBM systems
Assist senior engineers with investigations of system deficiencies and development of engineering solutions
Shipboard & Waterfront Support
Participate in ship visits to support system assessments, data validation, testing, and installation activities
Assist with pre- and post-installation ship checks to verify configuration accuracy
Support shipboard integration testing, verification, and validation activities
Documentation & Configuration
Assist with development and review of technical documentation including installation drawings, redlines, test procedures, and reports
Support configuration management activities
Maintain engineering records and contribute to technical reports and trip reports
Test & Evaluation Support
Assist in development and execution of test procedures and test plans
Support data collection, test execution, and documentation of test results
Participate in integration testing at shipboard and land-based facilities
Program & Team Support
Participate in technical meetings and working groups
Track assigned action items and support status reporting
Collaborate with mechanical, electrical, systems, and software engineering team members
Required Skills:
Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or related engineering discipline
Active DoD Secret Level Security Clearance (or the ability to obtain this clearance upon position acceptance) is required for this position
0–2 years of relevant engineering experience (internships and co-ops acceptable)
Fundamental understanding of mechanical systems and equipment
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications
Ability to lift and carry equipment up to 30 lbs
Ability to work on and climb ladders, aboard ships, in shipyards, under industrial conditions and in confined spaces.
