Grill Cook

Shift Details Tuesday - Saturday 4:00am - 11:30am Punctuality is extremely important to the success of this position. Overview We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Grill Cook to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food and a commitment to delivering high-quality dishes in a fast-paced kitchen environment. As a Grill Cook, you will play a vital role in preparing and cooking menu items, ensuring that every dish meets our standards of excellence. Your expertise in the kitchen will contribute to creating memorable dining experiences for our guests. Duties Set up the kitchen daily. Complete daily cleaning checklist, including but not limited to cleaning the grill. Prepare and cook a variety of grilled items according to menu specifications. Ensure all food safety and sanitation guidelines are followed to maintain a clean and safe kitchen environment. Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure timely service and high-quality food presentation. Operate and maintain grill equipment, ensuring it is clean and functioning properly. Monitor food quality during cooking processes, making adjustments as needed to meet standards. Help train new kitchen staff on proper cooking techniques and safety procedures. Skills Strong knowledge of food safety practices and regulations within the food industry. Experience in food service or culinary roles. Excellent time management skills with the ability to work under pressure in a busy kitchen environment. Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team while also being self-motivated when needed.
