Data Modeler (Pharma Experience)

The project involves building a semantic or ontology model for a pharmaceutical client. The ideal candidate will be proficient in translating complex business requirements into robust data models that can be leveraged for semantic models, system integration, and implementation. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in designing and implementing data models that support our analytics and business intelligence initiatives. This position requires a strong understanding of data modeling techniques, database design, and the ability to work collaboratively in an Agile environment. Responsibilities
Collaborate with business analysts, subject matter experts, and R&D teams to gather business requirements.
Develop conceptual and logical data models to support semantic modeling and ontology development.
Design data models that facilitate system integration and support pharmaceutical R&D processes.
Ensure the accuracy, consistency, and quality of the data model to meet business and technical requirements.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful implementation of the data model in system architectures.
Conduct data analysis to identify and rectify gaps in existing models.
Translate business requirements into elegant data models that align with industry standards and best practices.
Experience
10+ years of experience as a Data Modeler or in a similar role.
Proven experience in conceptual and logical data modeling, with a focus on supporting semantic and ontology models.
Strong expertise in translating complex business requirements into effective data models.
Experience in system implementation and data integration.
Prior experience in the pharmaceutical industry, especially within R&D, is highly desirable.
Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
Strong communication and collaboration abilities.
