Applied Behavior and Learning Consultants is the place for you! We are seeking dedicated Behavior Technicians (BT) and Registered Behavior Technicians (RBT) to join our quickly growing ABA team, which provides one-on-one services to children and adolescents on the Autism Spectrum. Services are provided in the homes, communities, and daycares, where we use play-based interventions, while addressing behaviors as they naturally occur. The best part is that we are also helping the families learn and grow with their child. Clients' programs are all individualized to their needs and abilities. All BTs and RBTs are supervised in person by our Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs), who are there not only there to oversee the case but also to help you grow professionally.
Current positions start out as part-time in late afternoon, and all have the opportunity to grow into full-time with flexible schedules over time. If you do not have the RBT certificate, do not worry, we will provide both the coursework and in-person training on a fast track to get you certified. You will also be compensated for your time during training.
Position Requirements:
Must be 18 years or older with a high school diploma or GED
Current and valid Registered Behavior Technician Credential, or willingness to pursue on a fast track
Background screening and clearance
Current driver’s license and reliable transportation
Position Responsibilities
Provide community and home-based services to individuals on the autism spectrum
Implement individualized service plans and behavior support plans
Collect data while working with the client on programs made specifially for them
Document progress on program and behavior goals, as well as daily documentation of service
Assist in the evaluation of the effectiveness of the plans, identify problems, and provide timely recommendations for a solution
Bring a positive and energetic attitude to the client’s environment
Participate in training and supervision from our certified and licensed staff members
Teach through a more naturalistic and fun approach
Be creative with play
Work most independently in the homes and communities
