Established orthopedic group, is seeking a full-time orthopedic surgeon to join our well established primary and multi-specialty care clinic. In partnership with an established regional provider of choice for orthopedic services, the group provides orthopedic and sports medicine services to patients across the multi-county community. Our partnership has proven to provide comprehensive and highly specialized orthopedic care for our patients to stay active and healthy close to home.DETAILED JOB SUMMARY AND RESPONSIBILITIESPrimary responsibilities include inpatient and outpatient clinical care for assessment, diagnosis, and treatment of patients.Successful candidates will be well-grounded in the basic science of orthopedic surgery, using exceptional clinical judgement to offer thorough and exemplary patient care. We expect our surgeons to possess a blend of technical knowledge and empathy, enabling them to improve the health of patients.Our surgeons provide high-quality direct patient care managing a clinic volume of 20-25 patients per day. Advanced practice providers in the clinic assist physicians in managing patients; therefore, supervision and collaboration is required. We provide the guidance and care for Emporia State University s athletic department and area athletes.
