A busy transportation and heavy equipment operation in Exeter is looking for a Dispatcher / Heavy Haul Coordinator to keep trucks moving, drivers informed, and jobs on track. This is not an emergency services dispatch role - they want somebody who understands logistics, scheduling, trucking, equipment, and how to think on the fly when plans change. You'll be coordinating drivers, handling customer calls, tracking loads, solving problems in real time, and making sure paperwork and billing details are squared away before the day ends. What You'll Be DoingDispatching trucks and drivers throughout the day based on changing schedules and customer needsCoordinating heavy haul, transport, towing, and equipment movesCommunicating with drivers, customers, contractors, and supervisorsHandling incoming calls and getting the right information to the right people quicklyEntering dispatch details, load info, and billing information into TowBook and other systemsTracking jobs, schedules, permits, and paperworkHelping solve route, scheduling, equipment, or customer issues as they come upAssisting with oversized/overweight permits when neededReviewing completed paperwork for accuracyWorking closely with operations and transportation supervisors to keep things moving smoothly What We Are Looking ForPrevious logistics or transportation dispatch experienceStrong computer skills and comfort learning dispatch softwareAbility to multitask without falling behindSomebody who stays calm under pressure and can make decisions quicklyGood communication skills with drivers and customersExperience with trucking, construction equipment, towing, flatbed, heavy haul, or transportation operations is a big plusKnowledge of GPS systems, Samsara, TowBook, or similar dispatch software helpsUnderstanding of FMCSA regulations is a plus ScheduleFull-time Monday-FridayOn-site in Exeter, NHWeekend/on-call rotation availability required Pay & Benefits$65,000-$75,000 depending on experienceMedical, dental, and vision coverageLife and disability insurancePaid vacation and holidays401(k) with company match If you've worked in trucking, towing, heavy equipment, construction logistics, or transportation coordination and know how to keep drivers rolling, they want to talk to you.
