PMP Instructor
Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced PMP Instructor to lead project management training sessions, develop comprehensive curricula, and foster engaging learning environments for diverse student populations. Responsibilities
Deliver engaging online and in-person PMP certification training courses utilizing advanced e-learning platforms such as LMS (Learning Management System) and Blackboard.
Design, develop, and update curriculum materials that align with current PMI (Project Management Institute) standards and industry best practices.
Facilitate interactive classroom discussions, virtual sessions, and practical exercises to enhance student understanding of project management concepts.
Assess student progress through quizzes, assignments, and exams; provide constructive feedback to support continuous improvement.
Collaborate with faculty colleagues on curriculum development initiatives and integrate educational technology tools to enrich the learning experience.
Conduct research on emerging trends in project management, educational technology integration, and adult learning methodologies to keep content relevant.
Support students from diverse cultural backgrounds by creating inclusive learning environments that promote engagement and success.
Requirements
Proven experience teaching project management courses or related subjects within higher education or corporate training settings.
Strong knowledge of PMP certification requirements, PMI standards, and project management methodologies.
Familiarity with LMS platforms such as Blackboard or similar online training platforms; experience with e-learning platform teaching is highly desirable.
Excellent communication skills, including public speaking, writing proficiency, and the ability to explain complex concepts clearly.
Background in curriculum design, course development, and instructional best practices for adult learners.
Experience working with students from diverse backgrounds and fostering an inclusive classroom environment.
Proficiency with educational technology tools such as Microsoft Excel, Adobe Creative Suite, video editing software, and digital marketing platforms is a plus.
Knowledge of accounting software like QuickBooks or financial concepts can be beneficial for interdisciplinary course offerings related to business management or finance.
Prior university faculty experience or college teaching credentials are preferred; familiarity with higher education pedagogy is advantageous.
