RN PACU
Estimated Gross Weekly Pay: $2360$500 CONTRACT COMPLETION BONUSOpportunity:RN - PACUJob Details:• Work variable 4×10 hour shifts for a total of 40 hours per week• 13-week contract assignment• On-call requirements: One night per week for 4 weeks out of 6-week schedule and every 5th weekend• 30-minute response time for call-back with minimum 2-hour guarantee• Weekday call from 1:00 PM to 9:30 PM, then overnight call from 9:30 PM to 7:30 AM• Weekend schedule includes every 5th weekend on-call• Holiday rotation required• Must maintain 1:2 patient ratio in 14-bay PACU unit handling approximately 35 patients per day• Provide post-operative recovery care for general, spine, neuro, GI, ENT, cardiac, PV, and orthopedic procedures• Stabilize ICU patients before transfer• Any color scrubs acceptable• Contract includes 36 hours of potential low census unbillable hours with call-back pay available• Required certifications: Wisconsin RN License, AHA BLS, ACLS, PALS• Minimum 2+ years PACU experience required with recent hospital, post-cardiac, and pediatric experience• Epic charting system strongly preferred, electronic charting experience required• Must reside outside 50-mile radius of facility• Flu season mask requirement if vaccination declinedFacility:This healthcare organization operates a comprehensive medical center featuring a 14-bay PACU unit that handles diverse surgical specialties including general, spine, neurology, GI, ENT, cardiac, peripheral vascular, and orthopedic procedures.
