As a Tesla EV Technician, you will diagnose, repair, and maintain electric powertrains, electrical systems, and vehicle components with precision and enthusiasm. Responsibilities Perform comprehensive diagnostics on electric vehicles using advanced automotive electrical systems and schematics to identify issues accurately. Repair and maintain electric powertrains, batteries, motors, and related components to ensure optimal vehicle performance. Utilize hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and specialized automotive repair tools to execute repairs efficiently. Troubleshoot complex electrical systems including ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance Systems) and other electronic modules. Follow manufacturer guidelines and safety protocols during maintenance procedures and repairs. Document all repair activities thoroughly in service records for transparency and quality assurance. Qualifications Proven dealership or automotive repair experience with a strong mechanical background. Hands-on experience with automotive diagnostics, schematics reading, and electrical systems troubleshooting. Knowledge of diesel engine repair is a plus but not mandatory; relevant experience is valued. Familiarity with powertrain components, vehicle maintenance procedures, and auto body repair techniques. Skilled in using hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and automotive service machinery. Experience working on Tesla vehicles or similar brands is advantageous but not required. Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate technical information clearly. Mechanical knowledge of automotive electrical systems, and vehicle maintenance best practices.
