FP&A Financial Analyst

SSI consultants have provided exceptional services at over 50 Fortune 500 companies, as well as 100’s of small and mid-size enterprises. Job Title:  Financial Analyst III Location:  North Chicago IL (Hybrid) Duration:  06 Months Contract ( with possible extension)  Job Description Purpose Statement:The Financial Analyst will be responsible for completing various FP&A (Financial Planning & Analysis) tasks related to ad-hoc projects, supporting day-to-day operations for the BTS organization, and tracking integration activities. This role requires managing large data sets, preparing month-end close reports, and conducting detailed financial analysis to support decision-making and forecasting.Key Responsibilities:Analyze, communicate, and process BTS chargebacks in coordination with internal teams.Work directly with Accounting Shared Services on monthly close processes to ensure timely, complete, and accurate results.Prepare variance analysis for P&L and headcount, communicating risks and opportunities to the manager and budget owners.Assist in drafting and reviewing monthly Integration LBEs, ensuring alignment with both financial and operating management.Meet all financial reporting requirements for BTS, BTS HQ, and Corporate, ensuring compliance with relevant policies and procedures.Drive process improvements and ensure proper documentation of all financial processes.Provide reconciliation and analysis on third-party resource billing, charge outs, and cost savings.Perform ad-hoc financial analysis and support various BTS projects.Engage with all levels of management, including BTS Managers, BTS FP&A, and Accounting COE.Qualifications:Basic Qualifications:Education: B.A./B.S. degree in Finance or related field.Experience: 6-8 years of FP&A or financial reporting experience, preferably in the pharmaceutical or consumer industries.Technical Skills: Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (e.g., macros, pivot tables, data manipulation for large datasets).Systems Experience: SAP General Ledger and SRM.Communication Skills: Excellent oral and written communication skills with the ability to interact with all levels of the organization.Preferred Qualifications:IBM Cognos TM1 experience.MBA or CPA certification is a plus.Prior experience in multinational companies and handling high-volume data.If you are qualified and interested, please call me at (773)-947-0745. If you wish to respond via e-mail, include a daytime phone number so I can reach you please. In considering candidates, time is of the essence, so please respond ASAP.
