Job Summary:
Trileaf is seeking a contract (W-9), Project Scientist with at least 0-1 years of field experience conducting environmental due diligence work on commercial real estate projects, to include Phase I Environmental Site Assessments (Phase I ESAs). This position is a contract as needed role based in Alaska.
Essential Job Functions:
Travel to project location, take detailed notes and photographs of site as needed
Conducting interviews, in person, via email, and phone
Performing regulatory agency file reviews
Reviewing historical data (including topographic maps, Sanborn fire insurance maps, city directories, and aerial photographs)
Perform QA/QC of field notes
Conducting field work to collect samples of potentially contaminated subsurface media (soil, groundwater, and soil vapor) and/or indoor air
Compare analytical contaminant data collected to applicable regulatory standards
Basic Qualifications:

Preferred Qualifications / Experience:
Licensed Asbestos Inspector (optional not required)
Mold assessment experience (optional not required)
Transaction Screen Assessments (ASTM E1528)
Environmental Professional (EP)
Education: Bachelor’s degree or higher in Biology, Environmental Science, Geology, Geography or related fields
