Blending Technician (1st and 2d shifts)

As a Blending Technician, you will be responsible for blending custom seasoning and spice mixes to meet customer specifications. Shifts available: First Shift (6:00 AM - 2:30 PM) Second Shift (2:30 PM - 11:00 PM) Starting Pay: $19/hour Key Responsibilities: Follow detailed batch instructions to blend seasonings and spices accurately. Coordinate with the Quality Control Lab to ensure product quality before production begins. Continuously monitor product quality during the production process. Maintain responsibility for overall room conditions, including cleanliness, sanitation, and productivity. Accurately complete batch cards, document production data, and resolve any discrepancies between batch weights and outputs. Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a secure work environment. Perform additional duties as assigned. Qualifications High School diploma or GED. Warehouse experience, particularly in food manufacturing. Machine operator experience is preferred. Skills: Attention to detail. Dependability and a sense of urgency. Ability to work well in a team and communicate effectively at all levels. Basic math and problem-solving abilities. Must be able to read, write, and understand English Physical Requirements: Ability to stand for the duration of the shift and walk long distances. Capable of pushing, pulling, lifting, and carrying heavy items up to 50 lbs. Ability to perform tasks involving extended arm movements and manual dexterity. Comfortable working at heights and climbing ladders. Ability to work in noisy, dusty environments and withstand temperature extremes.
