Director of School Bus Sales
Endera Motors is a leading U.S.-based manufacturer of specialty vehicles, including Class 4 shuttles and school buses. We are driving innovation in both internal combustion engine (ICE) and electric vehicle (EV) platforms, with a strong emphasis on delivering best-in-class body designs that meet the evolving needs of transit and commercial customers. We are currently launching multiple new body configurations and expanding our proprietary EV drivetrain and software solutions.
Position Summary
We are seeking a motivated and relationship-driven Director of School Bus Sales to support and grow dealer and customer accounts across the United States. This role is responsible for developing new business, supporting existing dealer partners, and driving sales of bus and specialty vehicle solutions. Experience in bus, specialty vehicle, or commercial automotive sales is preferred but not required—candidates with strong B2B sales backgrounds and a willingness to learn are encouraged to apply.
Key Responsibilities
Manage and grow assigned dealer and customer accounts throughout the U.S.
Develop new business opportunities with public and private fleet customers
Support dealer partners with product information, quoting, and sales strategies
Conduct in-person and virtual sales presentations
Work closely with internal teams to ensure accurate orders, timelines, and customer satisfaction
Track opportunities and maintain accurate sales activity within Endera’s ERP and Sales tools.
Represent the company at industry events, trade shows, and customer meetings
Monitor market activity and competitive trends within the territory
Identify, develop, and cultivate new dealer partnerships that align with Endera’s strategy and goals.
Preferred Background & Experience
Prior sales experience in one or more of the following is preferred:
Bus or coach sales
Specialty vehicles
Commercial or fleet automotive sales
However, candidates with strong B2B or territory sales experience in related industries will be considered
Education
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field preferred, or equivalent sales experience
Qualifications
Proven ability to manage a sales territory and meet or exceed sales goals
Strong communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills
Ability to understand and communicate technical products and specifications
Self-motivated, organized, and comfortable working independently in the field
Proficiency with CRM systems and Microsoft Office tools
Valid driver’s license and ability to travel, preferred CDL Class B with passenger endorsement or ability to obtain within first 90 days
Travel
This position requires regular travel throughout the United States, including overnight travel as needed.
