Outside Sales Account Executive

Background:Alera is the creator of Zensa Topical Anaesthetic, one of the fastest-growing pharmaceutical skincare products in the medspa market (@zensaskin on Instagram). We are seeking a full-time, motivated Account Executive to expand the Zensa brand within the medspa channel, while consistently upholding Alera’s Life & Style brand guidelines. Having experienced significant growth over the past five years, the Sales Account Executive will play a key role in acceleratingthis momentum by strengthening relationships, driving new business, and representing Alera as a sophisticated, trusted, and respected brand within the medspa community. This role is ideal for a collaborative, results-driven professional who thrives in a high-growth environment and contributes positively as a team player.Description:As the Sales Account Executive, you will report directly to the Senior Sales Manager and play a key role in expanding Alera’s presence within the medspa market. Your primary mission will be to identify, develop, and onboard new medspa accounts, while nurturing and growing existing client relationships. Leveraging your sales expertise, strong relationship-building skills, and ability to efficiently multitask, you will proactively engage prospective clients, drive new revenue opportunities, and manage a portfolio of established accounts. This role will also involve travel to industry and wellness conventions, representing the Zensa brand and contributing meaningfully to Alera’s broader strategic objective of becoming a leading authority in the medspa space.General Responsibilities:Use sales platforms to stay organized with client information and daily tasksContact pre-screened sales leads through different communication methodsPerform prospecting activities such as cold calling and networkingCommunicate and assist with existing clients requests within your regionGrow existing client accounts within your regionProvide excellent customer service with business-to-business clientsIllustrate the value of Zensa products to create growth opportunities and educating existing accountsTravel to wellness conventions and client meetings located within your regionCoordinate with Sales Coordinator for client invoices and sales assetsOwn your position by staying up-to-date with emerging sales trends and sales insightsRequirements:Minimum of 3 years of relevant work experienceMust be currently located in New York or New JerseyBackground in skincare, aesthetic capital equipment sales, dermatology sales, or related fieldDemonstrated success selling into medspa, dermatology, or aesthetic clinicsStrong understanding of aesthetic treatments, including lasers, energy-based devices, and skin therapiesValid driver’s license and access to a reliable vehicleAbility to travel across USA (up to 50%)Excellent working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)Salesforce experience preferredProven track record of reliability and positive team contributionAbility to manage multiple accounts while actively seeking new business opportunitiesPreferred Qualifications:Established network of relationships within medspa and aesthetic dermatology accountsDeep familiarity with laser technologies and aesthetic treatment workflowsExperience selling premium or medical-grade skincare productsExperience attending and selling at industry trade shows and conferencesProven ability to quickly build trust with clinical and business stakeholdersThe ideal candidate is passionate about:Being the best-in-class in your area of expertiseProviding excellent, supportive customer service and making a positive difference to those around youKeeping up-to-date with new sales tools and researching new opportunities to be more effectiveSharing ideas and working with a great team of proactive, innovative thinkersTaking ownership of your work and actionsStrategizing, planning, and creating initiatives that support team goals, while taking ownership of resulting outcomesBeing able to multi-task with a high-volume client baseTo Apply:Thank you for taking the time to apply for this opportunity.
