Expendable Engine Program ManagerFull Time Professional Holland, OH, US 13 days ago Requisition ID: 1018 About the Role: The Expendable Engine Program Manager will lead and oversee the full lifecycle of expendable engine programs within JetCat Defense, ensuring timely delivery, quality compliance, and cost-effectiveness. This role requires strategic planning and coordination across engineering, production, supply chain, and quality assurance teams to meet program objectives and customer requirements. The manager will be responsible for driving continuous improvement initiatives and risk mitigation strategies to enhance program performance and reliability. They will serve as the primary point of contact for internal stakeholders and external partners, facilitating clear communication and alignment on program goals. Ultimately, this position ensures that expendable engine products are developed and delivered efficiently, meeting all regulatory and safety standards while supporting the company’s business growth and innovation targets. Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Business Management, or a related field. Minimum of 5 years of experience in program or project management within the manufacturing industry. Proven track record managing complex engineering or manufacturing programs from initiation through delivery. Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes, supply chain management, and quality assurance principles. Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills. Preferred Qualifications: Master’s degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or a related discipline. Project Management Professional (PMP) or equivalent certification. Experience specifically managing expendable engine or aerospace-related manufacturing programs. Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, or other continuous improvement methodologies. Proficiency with program management software and ERP systems. Responsibilities: Develop and manage detailed program plans, schedules, and budgets for expendable engine projects. Coordinate cross-functional teams including engineering, manufacturing, quality, and supply chain to ensure program milestones are achieved. Monitor program progress, identify risks and issues, and implement corrective actions to maintain schedule and budget adherence. Engage with suppliers and customers to align expectations, resolve technical challenges, and ensure compliance with contractual requirements. Lead regular program reviews and status reporting to senior management and stakeholders. Drive continuous improvement initiatives to optimize manufacturing processes and product quality. Ensure all program activities comply with industry standards, safety regulations, and company policies. Skills: The successful candidate will utilize their project management skills daily to develop and maintain comprehensive program schedules and budgets, ensuring alignment with strategic goals. Strong communication skills are essential for coordinating cross-functional teams and engaging with external partners to resolve issues and drive program success. Analytical and problem-solving abilities will be applied to identify risks early and implement effective mitigation strategies.
