CNC Lead Machinist

CNC Lead Machinist (CNC Turning Department)Responsibilities:Reporting to the Lathe Department Manager, functions as a Lead within the Lathe group by trouble-shooting issues and providing help and support to other Lathe Operators; however, there are no direct supervisory responsibilities.As assigned, sets up complex jobs in the CNC Lathe department and/or runs production partsViews the Inspection Measurement Sheet as a necessary tool to help ensure that parts produced consistently meet customer specificationsSets a personal example and is a positive role model with regard to working safely, focusing on Quality, and in meeting expected production standardsSets a personal example of understanding and adhering to Company policies or expectations, such as: 1) the Company's AS9100 Quality Management System, 2) compliance with ITAR-related policies and requirements, 3) leaving work areas in an excellent condition at the end of each shiftCompany offers a competitive salary and benefits package which includes medical, dental, vision and life insurance.
