Staff Accountant
The Staff Accountant supports daily through annual accounting operations with a primary focus on bank and account reconciliations, journal entries, and business license compliance. This is an onsite role requiring close collaboration with internal teams.Key ResponsibilitiesPerform daily reconciliations for multiple bank accounts and provide accurate reporting to managementComplete monthly bank and general ledger account reconciliationsManage business license filings, renewals, and related reportingReview expense activity and identify coding or posting discrepanciesMonitor and maintain subtenant rent schedulesPartner with Accounts Payable and Client Services to support payment processing (Check, ACH, Wire) and bank depositsAssist with audit preparation by gathering and organizing supporting documentationPrepare and maintain financial schedules and reports using Microsoft ExcelResearch and respond to accounting and financial inquiriesSupport additional accounting functions such as cash postings and expense reimbursements as neededQualificationsBachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field2+ years of accounting or related experience preferredLaw firm experience strongly preferredAdvanced proficiency in Microsoft ExcelStrong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize and multitask in a fast‑paced environmentExcellent analytical, written, and verbal communication skillsWorking knowledge of Accounts Payable processes highly desirableDetail‑oriented with strong follow‑up skills to ensure timely issue resolutionAbility to work 7.5 hours per day / 37.5 hours per week (occasional overtime may be required)Experience with 3E, Elite Enterprise, or similar accounting systems preferred All qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, national origin, age, ancestry, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, gender expression, marital status, disability, medical condition, genetic information, pregnancy, or military or veteran status.
