The CPO will be responsible for creating and executing multi-year strategies to increase revenue, grow the donor base, and diversify funding sources. This role requires a mission-driven leader with a proven track record in fundraising, including the ability to design and implement successful fundraising strategies and cultivate strong relationships with high-value donors. The ideal candidate will have at least 15 years of experience in senior leadership roles within mission-driven organizations, with a focus on fundraising and a commitment to the values of the organization. Key responsibilities for the CPO include engaging with the Board and staff to achieve revenue targets, serving as a spokesperson for the organization, and ensuring the stewardship of grant resources. The successful candidate will be a collaborative and entrepreneurial leader, skilled in building partnerships with a diverse set of organizations and individuals. They should have excellent communication skills, the ability to influence and persuade at all levels, and a strong understanding of the impact investing market. A Bachelor's degree is required, with an advanced degree preferred, and a background in business, finance, public policy, or a related field is a plus.
