CNC Programmer / Engineer Tech Job Summary Verhoff Machine & Welding is looking for a CNC Programmer / Engineer responsible for programming and operating power driven lathes, mills, and grinders. This position will analyze and create instructions after reviewing print to meet part specifications. Responsibilities Read, analyze and interpret complex documents, blue prints, and customer drawings and perform all necessary calculations. Program, set up, adjust, and operate CNC horizontal and vertical mills to machine part to print specifications. Generate, write and/or edit CNC programs, create prototypes, fixtures, and manage tooling needs for department. Monitor the quality of parts produced, make adjustment as needed. Must be proficient with computer equipment/software, Auto Cad, ProE or SolidEdge, CNC MasterCam programming, and machine tooling design. Must be quality orientated with a high attention to detail and able to work with quality and manufacturing departments to define problems and implement improvements. Experience Technical Associates Degree or equivalent training and experience. Minimum of 2 yrs. manufacturing experience or training; or equivalent combination. High School Diploma or equivalent (GED). Driver’s license required. Must pass drug screening. First Shift: 6:00am-3:30pm Monday through Thursday; 6:00am-10:00am Friday
