FM Division Leader - Southeast Account Growth

Director / VP of Facilities Management – IFM Operations & Growth📍 Southeast US. (Remote based within region) - Extensive regional travel requiredA leading facilities services provider is seeking a senior Director / VP of Facilities Management to lead and expand its Integrated Facilities Management operations across the Southeast US.This is a remote-based leadership role, however candidates must be located within the Southeast region and comfortable with regular travel across multiple states (Virginia through Florida, including the Carolinas and Tennessee region).This is a high impact, growth focused position for a commercially minded FM leader who can operate across both operations and business development, helping to shape and scale a growing FM/IFM service line.The OpportunityThis role sits at the centre of an expanding Facilities Management division within an established industrial services organisation.You will act as the senior FM leader for the region, responsible for overseeing multiple IFM accounts while also driving strategic growth, customer expansion, and operational maturity across the portfolio.The organisation already has strong foundations and key industrial partnerships in place (including pharmaceutical and manufacturing environments), and is now scaling its FM offering across the Southeast.This is not a purely operational role - it is a blend of leadership, commercial growth, client engagement, and strategic development.Key ResponsibilitiesLead and oversee multiple IFM accounts across the Southeast US.Act as the senior FM representative for key customer relationshipsDrive growth of FM services across industrial, manufacturing, pharma, automotive, education, and process environmentsPartner with executive leadership to shape regional FM strategySupport business development, pricing strategy, and account expansionEngage directly with customers at executive and operational levelsStrengthen operational standards and delivery consistency across accountsSupport stabilisation and improvement of existing contracts where requiredLead recruitment, development, and mentoring of FM teamsRepresent the organisation in senior client and internal leadership meetingsEnvironment & ScopeMulti-site IFM portfolio across the Southeast U S.Industrial and technical environments including manufacturing and regulated facilitiesStrong existing customer base with room for significant expansionHigh autonomy with regional ownership and executive-level visibilityCollaborative, relationship-driven cultureCandidate ProfileEssential experience:Senior experience in Facilities Management or Integrated Facilities ManagementBackground in industrial, manufacturing, pharma, GMP, automotive, or technical environmentsStrong understanding of both operational delivery and commercial FM strategyProven experience managing and growing technical service accountsExperience working with senior stakeholders and executive clientsLeadership experience across multi-site or regional portfoliosHighly desirable:Experience scaling FM/IFM service lines or business unitsStrong exposure to customer growth, sales support, or commercial strategy within FMLeadership & StyleThe ideal candidate will be:Technically credible and operationally strongCommercially aware with a growth mindsetComfortable working autonomously across a large regionStrong at building long-term client relationshipsCollaborative and aligned with a team-first cultureAble to balance strategic leadership with hands-on involvement when requiredThis is a culture built on partnership, with a strong emphasis on collaboration and mutual success.Compensation & BenefitsBase salaryDiscretionary bonus potential up to 50%Medical, dental, and vision coverageCompany issued card and travel expense supportFlexible remote working within the Southeast region3 weeks PTOCareer OpportunityThis is a high-visibility leadership role with significant influence over the future direction of Facilities Management within the organisation.There is strong potential to shape strategy, build teams, and play a central role in scaling a growing IFM business across the Southeast US.
