DescriptionRed Peak Technical Services, LLC a subsidiary of Alutiiq, LLC is seeking a well-qualified candidate to fill an Administrative Assistant position in our corporate office in San Diego, CA. The Administrative Assistant will support Navy engineering contracts.Responsible to provide administrative support to the Management Team.Create, maintain and update various excel spreadsheets to track expenses and labor hours.General data entry support.Answer and direct phone callsOrganize and schedule appointmentsPlan meetings and take detailed minutesWrite and distribute email, correspondence memos, letters, faxes and formsAssist in the preparation and distribution of regularly scheduled reportsDevelop and maintain a filing systemUpdate and maintain office policies and proceduresOrder office supplies and research new vendors and suppliersMaintain contact listsAssist with coordination of travel arrangementsSubmit and reconcile expense reportsProvide general support to visitorsSupport team building eventsAssist with new hire candidates.Act as the point of contact for internal and external clientsPay rate: $37.50 hourlyRequirementsSecurity Clearance: Must be able to obtain and maintain, at minimum a SECRET security clearance.H.S. Diploma or equivalent required.Pursuant to the Government Contract, you must be a U.S. Citizen.The candidate shall have intermediate to advanced computer skills/knowledge in the Microsoft Office suite, including Outlook, Word, and Excel.The candidate should have a basic understanding of Office 365, SharePoint.Candidate should have general knowledge of DoD Contracts.The candidate must have excellent communication skills.Excellent time management skills and the ability to prioritize work.Attention to detail and problem solving skills.A good team player with teamwork spirit when deal with issues Professional and friendly attitude to internal and external customers.Detail-Oriented.
