NPI Materials Program ManagerType: W-2 ContractDuration: 6 months (with potential to extend)Location: Austin, TX or Cupertino, CA (Hybrid)Schedule: 40 hours/weekOverviewWe are seeking an experienced NPI Materials Program Manager to support new product development and supply chain readiness. This role will focus on material planning, forecasting, and cross-functional coordination to ensure successful product builds and on-time delivery.This is a highly collaborative role working closely with Engineering, Operations, Finance, Procurement, and external manufacturing partners.Key ResponsibilitiesLead materials planning, forecasting, and readiness for new product buildsDrive Clear-to-Build (CTB) for pre-production phasesPartner with Engineering and Operations to support product development and build executionIdentify and resolve material supply constraints to ensure on-time deliveryManage materials budget planning and spend in collaboration with FinanceCoordinate with suppliers and manufacturing partners to support build readinessLead supply planning meetings and track material status across programsDrive process improvements across NPI materials and supply chain workflowsSupport qualification of new and alternate suppliersRequired Qualifications3–5+ years of experience in NPI, supply chain, or materials program managementExperience supporting new product introductions (NPI) in a hardware or manufacturing environmentStrong program/project management skills with ability to manage multiple prioritiesExperience working cross-functionally with Engineering, Operations, and SuppliersExcellent communication and organizational skillsHigh attention to detail and ability to operate in fast-paced environmentsAdvanced proficiency in ExcelPreferred QualificationsExperience with SAP, Oracle, or similar ERP systemsFamiliarity with Agile methodologiesBackground supporting OEM or manufacturing environmentsPMP, APICS, CSCP, or CPIM certification
