About the Role We’re hiring experienced, engaging tutors who understand how to build both skill and confidence in high-achieving students. The ideal candidate loves working with motivated middle schoolers and high schoolers and can break down test and academic content while teaching powerful strategies. What You’ll Do Tutor students 1:1 for the ISEE, SSAT, SAT, ACT, or Academic subjects such as Math (through Calculus) or English Deliver engaging lessons that strengthen content mastery, timing, and confidence Follow the Avery Prep approach: drills, timed sections, and error analysis Be willing to complete training Communicate clearly and consistently with families Collaborate with our team for feedback and ongoing professional development You Are Experienced (2+ years tutoring preferred) with deep familiarity with at least two of the following areas: ISEE/SSAT, SAT/ACT, AP English, Calculus, Physics, Chemistry, Geometry, Algebra, or Statistics.
