Responsibilities: Greet guests warmly upon arrival and assist with seating arrangements, ensuring a smooth flow of service. Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, processing sales transactions efficiently. Serve food and drinks promptly while maintaining high standards of presentation, including cocktail service, wine knowledge, and spirits experience. Upsell menu items and specials to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales opportunities. Handle cash transactions accurately, process payments via POS systems like OpenTable or other platforms, and provide correct change. Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards by bussing tables, resetting dining areas, and adhering to food safety protocols. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely food preparation and delivery, supporting overall restaurant operations. Assist with guest relations by addressing questions, resolving concerns promptly, and ensuring a positive dining experience. Requirements: Previous food service experience in a restaurant or hospitality setting is highly preferred. Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS, Micros POS, or similar platforms. Proven ability to manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. Strong customer service skills with a friendly, energetic attitude that fosters guest satisfaction. Knowledge of food handling safety procedures and sanitation standards. Experience with beverage service including cocktails, spirits, wine knowledge, and drink presentation is desirable. Ability to process cash transactions accurately and efficiently using POS systems like OpenTable or equivalent. Basic math skills for handling bills, tips, and change calculations confidently. Excellent communication skills coupled with teamwork orientation to support restaurant operations seamlessly. Restaurant hours: Fork & Spoon Brunch House is open from 8 am - 3 pm every day.
