Akkodis is seeking a SQL Server Data and Analytics Specialist for a 12 months ContractRate Range: $76.00 - $80.00 P/HR.; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.Top Required Skills: High end analytic skill in SQL, T-SQL, problem solver, & can shift quicklyOverview:Working as part of a high functioning team, the SQL Server Data and Analytics Specialist is responsible for developing, supporting, and optimizing robust solutions in SQL Server for Legal Services projectsDefines and develops solutions with minimal direction through collaboration with Solutions Architects and consultation with Project ManagersThinks strategically, with an equal focus on developing and communicating practical solutions that exceed client expectationsIs detail oriented but flexible, ready to adapt to changing needs and priorities, cycling in and out of projects and embracing alternative paths to solutionsEnjoys the challenge of solving complex (and potentially under-defined) problems as a member of a high-performance teamResponsibilities:Develop, debug, and test T-SQL code to address a wide range of technical and analytical problemsDetermine and implement effective strategies to explore, analyze, interpret, standardize, and conform complex datasetsCollaborate with team members to determine the sufficiency of data and ensure alignment in requirementsAssist Solutions Architects in the development of data processing plans that address the custom needs of each projectInterface with business stakeholders to identify new and/or clarify existing requirementsManage and prioritize assigned tasks, ensuring deadlines are achieved, communicating appropriately about progress and obstaclesKnowledge/Experience:5+ years’ experience in leading the development of technical solutionsBachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Engineering (or related fields) strongly preferredAbility to understand complex business processes and adapt solutions to meet the needs of the businessExcellent communication skills for collaborative interaction with peers, managers, and business stakeholdersComfortable in consultative interactions, able to clearly and confidently articulate both challenges and solutions to non-technical stakeholdersMust enjoy and have experience working in a fast paced environment, able to quickly realign with shifting prioritiesTechnical Skills:10+ years’ experience with SQL Server and/or other relational databasesAdvanced/expert level knowledge and experience working with SQL Server and/or in the development of T-SQL codeProficient in tuning T-SQL queries and/or in the optimization of database server performanceExperience performing complex data analysis of very large datasetsIf you are interested in this role, then please click APPLY NOW.
