School Psychologist

Job Description Bachelor's or Master's degree in School Psychology, active School Psychologist license and minimum 1+ years School Psychologist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.Blazer Jobs is actively interviewing experienced School Psychologists for a full-time role for the upcoming school year with districts in the Washington D.C. area. Applicants must meet all local and state requirements – including holding a valid Virginia School Psychologist license issued by the Virginia Department of Education, completion of a specialist-level degree or higher in school psychology (Master's or Doctoral Level Degree), passing any required background checks and fingerprinting, and completion of a TB test.Responsibilities for this role include primarily conducting psychological assessments and evaluations, providing consultation with teachers, staff, and families, supporting Functional Behavior Assessments (FBA) and Behavior Intervention Plans (BIP), and assisting with Multi-Tiered Systems of Support (MTSS) as needed. There may be occasional support provided to social workers with counseling services, though this is not a primary responsibility.
