Starting hourly pay range from $22.00/hr 1st Shift 6:00 am to 4:30 pm Monday – Thursday, Friday and/or Saturday 6:00 am to 2:30 pm Holidays, PTO, Medical, Dental, Vision, Telemedicine and Supplemental Benefits. Overview: Responsible for operating one or more types of computer numeric controlled production equipment. Job Functions: Selects appropriate settings on CNC machines and makes adjustments as necessary. Set-up and manage CNC machines to perform different jobs including drilling, grinding and milling. Translate engineering drawings and requirements into dimensions for production. Ensure the CNC machine operates in accordance with the guidelines of the company. Oversee the machines while they execute the tasks and make the necessary changes to produce improved results. Check machinery on a daily basis to guarantee functionality. Record all machine actions by completing production and quality logs. Communicate logistics issues that arise in the process of creating a part. Ensure that results of machining process align with client expectations. Follows established quality and safety standards. Assembles, repairs, and fabricates metal parts by operating mechanical equipment. Assembles parts into sub-units or complete units. Uses blueprints and design sketches to ensure the proper dimensions and tolerance levels of the finished product. Familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field. Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Performs a variety of tasks. A certain degree of creativity and latitude is required. Must have basic shop practice knowledge. Qualifications: Education: May require a high school diploma or its equivalent. Requires 4 plus years of experience in the field or in a related area. LIFTING REQUIREMENTS: 50 pounds PUSHING/PULLING REQUIREMENTS: 50 pounds w/assist SAFETY REQUIREMENTS: Hard hat, in required areas, safety shoes and safety glasses
