Major Responsibilities/AccountabilitiesLoad/unload shipping vehicles. Moves material within the Warehouses to and from the loading platform. Maintains high standards of organization and cleanliness for the Warehouses.Receive materials into the Warehouse manually and on the SAP computer program.Load materials to be shipped.Prepare materials for shipping, including shrink wrapping, labeling and packaging.Perform stock rotations to ensure FEFO.Deliver materials to all warehouses and/or designated storage areas as needed.Maintain accurate inventory and storage locations of all materials. Essential Functional Duties Of The PositionConduct all job responsibilities in manner consistent with all applicable safety and environmental laws and regulations, company policies and procedures, and the commitment to continuously improve safety and environmental performance.Obtain and maintain qualifications for operation of fork lifts. Obtain and maintain qualifications for hazardous material shipping/handling.Good Manufacturing Process & Good Documentation Practices Perform all GMP related documentation in compliance with ALCOA and good documentation practices as defined by site SOPsStrict compliance with all cGMP documentsSOPs, Batch records, protocols, change controls, controlled forms, etc.Ensure all cGMP applicable training is kept currentDo not perform and cGMP task for which have not received appropriate trainingEscalate any cGMP concerns to Supervisors and to Quality Department as neededPerform job functions in compliance with applicable US FDA regulations and current Good Manufacturing PracticesWork prioritization or timing decisions with supervisory oversightSecondary Responsibilities/accountabilitiesStage tanker trucks to facilitate safe unloading and loading procedures.Must be able to recognize and correct unsafe loading and unloading situations.Load and unload bulk chemicals from tanker trucks and rail cars. This includes attaching and disconnecting all required hoses for off-loading and loading of tanker trucks and rail cars.Obtain samples from tankers and rail cars, which will sometimes necessitate climbing to the top of the tanker or rail car and opening the top hatch of the tanker or rail car.Complete all required shipping documentation. Knowledge/Skill RequirementsMinimum of a high school degree or the equivalent. Must be able to read and understand and follow directions. Must be able to perform simple math equations.
