Tier 2 Technical Support/Operations Specialist

Tier 2 Technical Support/Operations Specialist (TX)Location: Plano, TX (100% onsite)Type: 6 month contract with potential for Direct Hire after the contract periodTravel: Occasional travel to production sites (20% likely).Responsibilities:Provide Tier 2 and Tier 3 technical support across enterprise-level environments.Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, and network issues for end users.Support multi-site operations with occasional on-site visits (at times 20-40% travel).Maintain and administer systems including Active Directory, Microsoft/Windows, Google Suite, and ITSM tools like ServiceNow.Assist with identity and access management processes.Contribute to the development and maintenance of technical documentation and knowledge bases.Participate in project-based tasks, including system implementations and upgrades.Ensure adherence to IT service management (ITSM) practices and service level agreements.Manage IT asset inventory in alignment with asset management protocols.Required Skills:3+ years of hands-on experience in IT end-user and systems support (Tier 2/3 experience needed)3+ years experience with Microsoft/Windows environments and Google Suite3+ years experience with Active Directory (user/admin account management, permissions)Prior ServiceNow (or equivalent ITSM platform) experienceStrong problem-solving skills and ability to perform effectively under pressure.Preferred Certs: CompTIA A+, Microsoft certifications (MCP, MCSA), and/or ITIL v3/v4Contact:Ashley Falkenberg | Senior Recruiting ConsultantForbes Technical Consulting LLC | 343 W Erie St. Suite 520 | Chicago, IL 60654E ajones@forbestc.com
