Senior Account Sales Representative

Job SummarySells products and services to customers in assigned non-bulk multi-dwelling unit (MDU) properties with 50+ doors through door-to-door solicitation, lobby events, and by building strong relationships with property managers.ResponsibilitiesActively and consistently support all efforts to simplify and enhance the customer experience.Meet established objectives relative to monthly sales goals and increased sales volume and penetration through assigned leads and property portfolio.Solicit residential customers through door-to-door solicitation, lobby events, and by building/maintaining strong relationships with property management.Generate incremental revenue from existing customers by adding new or additional services.Respond to customer problems and complaints according to established company policy; follow through to ensure issues are satisfactorily resolved.Maintain a well-informed knowledge base of competitors' activities throughout the assigned territory; inform manager of any changing competitive pricing programs or marketing directions.Attend and actively contribute to sales meetings and training programs.Accurately complete all necessary paperwork to support sales activities in a manner consistent with quality control guidelines, including dispositions, sales orders, and sales reporting.Collect and account for funds and provide receipts according to company policies and guidelines.Required Skills, Abilities, and KnowledgeKnowledge of cold-call sales skills, persuasion, and clear communication skills.Ability to travel (including during inclement weather) to and from assigned territories and company facilities using a reliable personal vehicle.Ability to work outside for extended periods in any season and/or during inclement weather.Familiarity with computer operating systems and a variety of consumer and commercial communication devices (e.g., PDAs, smartphones, routers, modems, converters, and wireless devices) and computer software applications.Valid driver's license with a satisfactory driving record within company-required standards.Required EducationHigh school diploma or equivalent work experience.Required Related Work ExperienceExperience in sales or customer service – 1+ year(s).Preferred QualificationsKnowledge of communications technologies and services, with an emphasis on data networking fundamentals.Knowledge of cable or telecommunications services.Experience with consumer education of products and services.Success in a previous sales position, prospecting or cold calling; direct sales experience is preferred but not required.2+ years sales or relevant work experience.Working ConditionsSpends approximately 80% of time in the outside environment for extended periods in any season with potential exposure to inclement weather.Must be able to lift 10–20 pounds for 20–30 feet.Exposure to moderate noise levels.Must be able to work evenings and weekends.Variable hours may include weekends, holidays, and split days off.Legal and EEO StatementsThis role requires the ability to work lawfully in the U.S. without employment-based immigration sponsorship, now or in the future.A qualified applicant's criminal history, if any, will be considered in a manner consistent with applicable laws, including local ordinances.Spectrum is an Equal Opportunity Employer, including job seekers with disabilities and veterans.Job Code: SMD300 2026-74416 2026 | Listing ID: #LI-EW2J-18808-Ljbffr
