Landscape Laborer

Overview We are seeking a dedicated Landscape Laborer to join our team and contribute to a variety of outdoor projects. This role involves hands-on work in landscape maintenance, construction, and gardening, supporting the creation and upkeep of beautiful, functional outdoor spaces. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, a passion for outdoor work, and familiarity with various landscaping tools and techniques. This position offers an opportunity to develop skills in horticulture, equipment operation, and landscape design while working in a dynamic environment. Responsibilities Assist with lawn care tasks including mowing, edging, and trimming to maintain healthy turf and aesthetic appeal. Perform landscape maintenance such as planting, pruning, tree care, and shrubbery management. Operate hand tools and power tools safely for tasks like digging, planting, and installing hardscape features. Use equipment such as excavators for larger construction or landscaping projects. Support irrigation system installation and maintenance to ensure proper watering of landscapes. Conduct snow plowing during winter months to ensure safe access to properties. Assist with tree trimming and removal to promote healthy growth and safety. Maintain cleanliness of work sites by removing debris and ensuring proper disposal of waste materials. Support hardscape projects including patio installation, walkway construction, and retaining wall setup. Perform general maintenance tasks related to landscape upkeep to ensure long-term health and appearance of outdoor spaces. Qualifications Prior experience or familiarity with lawn care, landscape maintenance, or gardening is preferred. Mechanical knowledge related to landscaping equipment and power tools is highly desirable. Experience operating machinery such as excavators or other construction equipment is a plus. Ability to use hand tools effectively and safely for various landscaping tasks. Knowledge of horticulture principles, tree care, irrigation systems, and snow plowing techniques is beneficial. Strong physical stamina with the ability to lift heavy materials and work outdoors in various weather conditions. Good communication skills and the ability to work well within a team environment. Valid driver’s license is preferred for equipment operation or transportation needs.
