Commercial Construction HVAC Project Manager Grand Rapids, MI Vander Hyde Mechanical, a family-owned business located on the Northwest side of Grand Rapids is seeking an experienced, motivated Commercial Construction HVAC Foreman! Vander Hyde Mechanical is a growing leader in the residential and commercial Heating, Cooling, Plumbing and Electrical trades and has proudly been in business for over 34 years! The Commercial HVAC Foreman has an advanced knowledge of how to correctly install or replace HVAC systems. Work involves troubleshooting, installing, and replacing HVAC systems and equipment on commercial job sites. Skills, Knowledge and/or Abilities required: Strong Problem Solving and Critical Thinking Skills Familiarity with HVAC wiring diagrams Knowledge and understanding of refrigeration cycles Ability to lead and work on a team properly assessing labor needs and timelines to meet construction schedules Must be able to perform work duties satisfactorily. Knowledge and ability to meet local HVAC codes Has the ability to implement solution based management skills through a proactive approach Ability to lift up to 75 lbs. Ability to push, pull, carry or maneuver heavier items and work from heights or small spaces. Ability to pass background check. Be willing to present General Contractor/client references Use and knowledge of Procore is a plus To perform this job successfully candidates must have: Type II EPA Certification or EPA Universal Driver’s License and Insurable driving record 2 or more years’ experience in a PM role with a proven track record in building positive relationships Benefits Include: COMPETITIVE WAGES Paid Time Off FREE HEALTH INSURANCE option for the employee!
