Exciting Opportunity to join a growing manufacturing firm and work with a top accounting team. This role provides room for professional development and career advancement. The ideal candidate will have ten plus years of manufacturing experience with 4 four plus years of management experience. Ability to lead the accounting team and lead the monthly accounting cycle while collaborating with other department leaders. Responsibilities include: Oversee and manage all aspects of general accounting and financial accounting functions.Manage and develop the accounting and finance team. Lead day-to-day accounting operations including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and payroll.Oversee the month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing processes, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.Review and approve journal entries, account reconciliations, and financial schedules.Collaborate with internal and external audit teams for process improvements and internal controls.Manage accounting related to logistics and inventory, including inventory valuation and controls.Establish and enforce accounting policies, procedures, and internal controls.Assist with the forecasting and annual budget process. Strategic planning and analysis. Qualifications & ExperienceBachelor’s degree in accounting or financeCPA or equivalent strongly preferred.10 plus years of progressive accounting and finance experience with experience in forecasting and budgeting. Experience with and inventory accounting and cost of goods sold. Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP.Experience with ERP systems and excel. ERP systems geared to the manufacturing industry preferred.Strong analytical, leadership, and communication skills.Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
