Staff Accountant - Manufacturing

Job Title: Staff AccountantLocation: Lewisville, TXExperience Required: 4–5 YearsPosition OverviewWe are seeking a detail-oriented Staff Accountant with manufacturing industry experience to join a growing team in the Lewisville area. This role will be responsible for supporting day-to-day accounting operations, maintaining accurate financial records, and assisting with month-end close activities. The ideal candidate has strong analytical skills, a solid understanding of cost accounting principles, and experience working in a manufacturing environment.Key ResponsibilitiesPrepare and maintain general ledger entries and account reconciliationsAssist with month-end and year-end closing processesSupport inventory and cost accounting activities within a manufacturing environmentReconcile bank accounts, balance sheet accounts, and intercompany transactionsAssist with preparation of financial statements and supporting schedulesMonitor and analyze variances in production costs, materials, and overheadSupport internal and external audits by preparing required documentationEnsure compliance with accounting policies, procedures, and internal controlsCollaborate with operations and production teams to ensure accurate cost trackingAssist with process improvements to enhance accounting efficiency and reporting accuracyQualificationsBachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field4–5 years of accounting experience , preferably within a manufacturing environmentExperience with inventory accounting and cost accounting strongly preferredStrong knowledge of GAAP and general accounting principlesProficiency with ERP systems and Microsoft ExcelExcellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skillsStrong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environmentPreferred QualificationsExperience with ERP systems used in manufacturing environmentsExposure to inventory controls, bill of materials (BOM), and standard costingExperience supporting audits or financial reporting processesBenefitsCompetitive benefits packageOpportunity to work in a collaborative and growth-focused environmentProfessional development and advancement opportunities#IND1#ZR
