Software Support Specialist

Software Support Specialist Be part of a growing fast paced organization. This is technical support work in the maintenance and daily operation of application system. Work involves supporting a Microsoft Office environment; administering vendor software; and support for application software; configuration, troubleshooting, and administration. An employee in this class must be a self-starter who is highly motivated and able to independently complete tasks with minimum supervision. Minimum Qualifications. Applicants must: Possess a Bachelor’s Degree . Possess and maintain a valid Driver License. Have previous experience in supporting computer hardware and software. Have previous experience supporting a Microsoft environment. Have previous experience providing end user support and training. Have excellent customer service skills. Be able to communicate clearly and concisely, orally and in writing. * Desirable Qualifications. Preferred applicants: Have considerable progressive experience in web applications Are willing and able to learn new skills to complete tasks Be proficient in work planning and scheduling.
