Sr Reliability Engineer

As a Sr. Reliability Engineer here at Solstice Advanced Materials, you will lead initiatives to enhance the reliability, availability, and maintainability of chemical plant equipment. This includes developing and implementing strategies for maintenance, analyzing equipment failures, and driving continuous improvement through data‑driven insights and a proactive approach to problem‑solving. You will report directly to our Reliability Manager, and you’ll work out of our Geismar, LA location on a 9/80 work schedule. Qualifications YOU MUST HAVE Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline 6 plus years of experience in reliability engineering in a chemical plant Experience with Fixed Equipment. Knowledge of NDE techniques and ASME/API codes Exceptional problem‑solving and analytical skills Experience with Process Safety Management (PSM) Facilities WE VALUE Familiarity or certification in national standards such as API 510, 570, 580, 653 Professional Reliability Certification – CRE, SMRP Excellent project management skills to oversee complex reliability engineering initiatives Passion for continuous learning and professional development, staying at the forefront of industry advancements Ability to work in a collaborative and cross‑functional environment, fostering a culture of teamwork and innovation U.S. PERSON REQUIREMENTS Due to compliance with U.S. export control laws and regulations, candidate must be a U.S. person, which is defined as a U.S. citizen, a U.S. permanent resident, or have protected status in the U.S. under asylum or refugee status. COMPENSATION The annual base salary range for this position is $145800 - $175195k. Please note that this salary information serves as a general guideline.
